The first place in NAFIPS'17 "Best Student Paper Award" (North American Fuzzy Information Processing Society) went to Ligang Sun (GIH), Hani Dbouk (IfE), Ingo Neumann (GIH), Steffen Schoen (IfE) and Vladik Kreinovich (Texas) for their paper titled "Taking into Account Interval (and Fuzzy) Uncertainty Can Lead to More Adequate Statistical Estimates".
